How do I point my domain at ABC Teck?
At the company where you registered your domain, change its nameservers to ns1.abcteckhosting.com and ns2.abcteckhosting.com. Changes can take 24 to 48 hours to spread across the internet. You can also set individual DNS records (A, CNAME) to our server's IP from Domains in your dashboard.
How do I create an email address on my domain?
In your dashboard, go to Email and choose Create email account. Pick the name (for example info@yourbusiness.com) and a password. It's ready in seconds, and works with any email app over IMAP and SMTP.
How do I turn on HTTPS?
In your dashboard, go to SSL and choose Install free SSL. The certificate comes from Let's Encrypt and renews itself. It usually switches on within 5 minutes once your domain points at our servers.
What happens if I go over my storage or bandwidth?
We email you when you reach 80%. If you hit the limit, your site stays online but uploads pause until you free up space or move to a bigger plan from Billing.
How do I get to my files?
Use the File manager in your dashboard, or connect over FTP or SFTP with the credentials shown under Account.
How do I restore a backup?
Go to Backups in your dashboard to download a copy or make a new one. To restore, open a ticket with the date you want and we'll do it for you.
Can I host more than one website?
Yes. Pro and Business plans include several websites. Add each one from Domains, and each gets its own files and space.
Which PHP versions do you support?
PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3. You can choose the version for each domain.
